The Clash of Clans World Championship (COCWC) is back for another season in
2023, with a prize pool of $1,150,000 and the addition of a new Town Hall
level. This tournament is popular among Clashers for its competitive
structure, and the expectations for this year's competition are high.
Qualification and Format
Eight teams will compete for the championship, with four teams each being
chosen through the Golden Ticket Tournaments and the Championship Qualifiers.
The Golden Ticket Tournaments are community-organized events, and this year,
Clash of Clans is partnering with Queso, RUSH.GG, and Clash MSTRS as the
official organizers. The fourth organizer will be a local tournament in China.
The dates for the Golden Ticket Tournaments are listed below.
- Queso Cup: Golden Edition: March
- Rush of Clans: Golden Edition: Early May
- Clash MSTRS Gold: Mid-July
- Fourth Tournament (China): TBA
The top four teams from the Championship Qualifiers, which will take place
in September and October, will advance to the World Finals. At the highest
Town Hall level, these teams can only have a total of five players. Dates
for the matches, which will take place in the Clash of Clans Tournament
Hub, will be revealed later.
World Finals and Prize Pool
From November 24 to 26, there will be three days of the World Finals. The top
8 teams from the Community Events and Championship Qualifiers will compete for
a share of the $1,150,000 prize pool. The prize pool's distribution has not
yet been disclosed. It will undoubtedly be an exciting event because of the
competitive structure of the competition.
The Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 promises to be an exciting competition with a high prize pool and a new Town Hall level.
