GODS REIGN Wins Pokemon Unite India Open 2022

Fans of the well-known game Pokémon Unite and gamers eagerly anticipated the Indian Open National Finals for Pokémon Unite in 2022. The competition was run by Sky Esports, one of South Asia's top esports organizers, and included various outstanding players and thrilling matchups. It lasted nearly a month, with most of the matches taking place online and the finals taking place in Mumbai's Bombay Exhibition Center. The prize money for the competition was divided among the eight teams who made it to the playoffs and beyond, totaling INR 22,50,000.

In the competition, Gods Reign, Revenant Esports, and Team S8UL were among the best teams. After losing to Revenant Esports in the upper bracket finals, Gods Reign staged an incredible comeback to win the tournament. They received a prize of 11.25 lakh rupees for their achievement, which was greeted with tremendous joy and rejoicing. In the grand finals, Revenant Esports put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short against Gods Reign and took second place. Despite losing in the championship game, the team's outstanding effort was honoured with a 5.25 lakh rupee award. Team S8UL also had a solid performance in the competition, finally placed third after a number of close encounters. By beating Marcos Gaming in the lower bracket round 3 semifinals, the team qualified for the lower bracket championship game, but ultimately lost to Gods Reign.

Team S8UL and Gods Reign competed in a tough match to go to the grand finals in the lower bracket finals. S8UL made a good first start by winning the first two games and exerting pressure on their rivals. Gods Reign wouldn't concede, though, and mounted a comeback by winning the following three rounds by a score of 2-3. They qualified for the grand finals thanks to their remarkable comeback, and after a dramatic battle against Revenant Esports, they won the competition.

Other prominent teams in the competition were Marcos Gaming, who finished in fourth place and received a prize of INR 1.5 lakhs, together with True Rippers, Enigma Gaming, FS Esports, and Chemin Esports, who each received INR 50,000. The Indian Open National Finals for Pokémon Unite in 2022 were indeed a successful event that showcased the skill and enthusiasm of gamers in India
