Telecom Giant Jio and Chip-maker MediaTek have joined Hands to Launch "Gaming Masters 2.0". This is the second edition of their esports tournament and will feature BGMI(Battlegrounds Mobile India).
The second season of Gaming Masters 2.0 is all set to start from 23rd November with a whooping prizepool of 12.5 Lakhs.
The Tournament is Open for all except for Participants from banned states. Banned States include Assam, Karnataka, Odhisha, Nagaland,Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Apart from Restricted States, Players below 13 years of age are not allowed to compete in this Tournament
DATES
- 12th November 2021 onwards - Registeration.
- 23rd November to 27th November 2021- Qualifier 1
- 30th November to 4th December 2021 - Qualifier 2
- 7th December 2021 to 11th December 2021 - Qualifier 3
- 14th December 2021 to 18th December 2021 - Qualifier 4
- 21st December 2021 - Road to Finale
ROADMAP
Community Tournaments will Consist of 4 Qualifiers in total and each of the
qualifier will consist of 3 rounds in total, 5 teams from each qualifier
will qualify to Road to Finale.
Qualifier Info:
- Round 1 will consist of 20 Teams playing in each match, who will play a set of 2 maps. Scores from both maps will be tailed & winning team will qualify to Round 2, on the basis of the scoring System.
- Round 2 will consist of 16 Teams playing in each match, who will play a set of 2 maps. Scores from both maps will be tailed & top 5 teams from each lobby will qualify to Round 3, on the basis of the scoring System.
- Round 3 will consist of 20 Teams who will play a set of 5 maps. Scores from all maps will be tailed and top 5 teams will qualify to Road to Finale, on the basis of scoring System
Road to Finale Info:
- The top 20 Teams from the Qualifier stage will compete in a match with a set of 5 maps. The score Of all maps will be tallied and the top 6 Teams will win prizes and qualify for the Grand Finale.
